Monroe Oxygen & Medical Equipment was established in 2001 as a division of American Home Respiratory Care, a New York corporation locally owned by John B. Velekkakan (Find out more in Meet Our Staff). Mr. Velekkakan has worked in home care for a number of years. He decided to create a company that puts quality patient care above all else. His staff is hand-picked based on personal reference and their reputation in the community.
